Next to famous flea market
Description
Want to experience a colorful, lively, multi-cultural Parisian neighborhood, a little bit off the beaten path? Welcome to the Château Mary... a cozy, brightly-lit, quiet, equipped apartment in the non-touristy part of the 18th district.
Welcome to the Château Mary. Well OK, it's not really a château, but it's a cozy, brightly-lit, quiet apartment in Paris' 18th district -- near the old artist village of Montmartre.
If you like markets, it's a 5 minute walk to the Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt, the world's largest and longest-running flea market. There is also an open-air market at my doorstep where I get all my fruits & vegetables on Tues, Friday & Sunday mornings.
Wonderful restaurants, cafés & pastry shops are all around. I'll be happy to point you to the best ones. Climb to the Sacré Coeur via charming neighborhoods on the non-touristy side of Montmartre in about 20 minutes (or just hop on the Montmartrebus!).
Living room has a (convertible) sofa, coffee table, armoir, desk, bookshelf. There is a fully-stocked open-facing kitchen with a dining table and 2 chairs.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed. Bedding and towels are of course provided. There is ample storage space, hooks and hangers to hang your clothes.
The flat is best suited for one person or for a couple. I have therefore selected "Number of tenants (maximum capacity) = 2". Infants and children are welcome, but I don't have a baby bed or high chair. The sofa in the living room converts to a bed if needed, but the flat is not meant to be a 2 bedroom on a long-term basis.
The flat is on the 2nd French floor with no lift. I have no pets and I don't smoke.
I am interested in respectful and responsible guests who will look after the space as if it where their own. I give priority to people who have taken the time to fill out their profiles with a photo. If not, expect a few questions from me.
