Difference between the buttons “Rent this property”, “Check availability” and “Contact the owner”
“Rent this property” button
This button only appear on properties with Instant Booking, or if an owner has already confirmed the availability of his property. When you click on the “Rent this property” button, you are making a rental request on the specific property of the owner. To do this, you will have to make the payment of the first-month rent plus the MorningCroissant fees or the payment of full rental.

“Check availability” button
This button only appear on properties that doesn't have Instant Booking. When you click on the « Check availability » button, you send an availability request to the owner. This function simply allows you to make sure the property is available on your dates and to ask the owner any questions you may have.
Since this does not involve any commitment by either party (tenant or owner) in case of acceptance, you can therefore make several requests, after which you can proceed to your rental request with a higher probability that it will be accepted.
Please note that any availability request, even if accepted, is not considered to be a firm rental. You have made no payment and no rental contract has been generated.
We recommend that you first make several availability request on any number of properties you may be interested in and then proceed to the rental among those whose availability has been confirmed.
“Contact the owner” button
When you click on the blue « Contact the owner » button, you can send a message to the owner with an automatic availability request. This function simply allows you to contact the owner to make sure the property is available on your dates and to ask him any questions you may have.
Since this does not involve any commitment by either party (tenant or owner) in case of acceptance, you can therefore make several requests, after which you can proceed to your rental request with a higher probability that it will be accepted.
