The beds in the bedroom area are 90x190 cm and 140x190 cm and are placed on the floor on a slatted base.
The flat's assets include its location in the heart of the Marais, its beautiful unobstructed view over the rooftops of Paris and a number of monuments (Georges Pompidou Centre, Panthéon), its light, its double aspect allowing for draughts, its atypical appearance on the top floor under the roof with the magnificent beams of an 1803 building, only 2 floors to climb on foot with the lift to the 4th floor.
The constraints also come from the atypical configuration of the roof: a beam runs across the floor (be careful not to trip over at night), the ceiling height in the centre is only 1.95 metres (so it's better suited to small people than tall ones), there's a step down into the kitchen, and the shower is in the bedroom, There is no door separating the bedroom from the living room, but you can use the folding screen if you wish, the bathroom is very small, the beds are on the floor (on a box spring), and access to the 6th floor is via a fairly small staircase.
