General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions are drawn up by TRAVELNKEYS (the "Agent") and are entered into between you, the Guest (tenant), and the Host directly. This is an authorisation to occupy the accommodation for the period indicated on one of the booking platforms and the Guests have not obtained exclusive possession of the property.
You must read these terms and conditions carefully and only make a booking through TRAVELNKEYS if you accept them in their entirety.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE :
Arrival: 17:00.
We will do our utmost to ensure that your accommodation is available as soon as possible and no later than 5.00 pm.
Departure: 10.00 am.
On the day of departure, the accommodation must be vacated by 10.00 am at the latest.
Unless otherwise agreed by TRAVELNKEYS.
Please let us know your approximate arrival time.
SECURITY DEPOSIT :
A pre-defined amount in each rental advertisement will be "pre-registered" and "non-cashed" automatically on your credit card as a security deposit. The service provider SWIKLY will be responsible for this operation if the booking platform does not offer this service directly.
This sum will be released within 15 days of your departure, unless the amount of the "cleaning option" or any damage caused is deducted.
In the event of damage to the property made available to the guest, the latter acknowledges that the losses related to the damage may exceed the security deposit or guarantee and agrees to be liable for the full amount of the losses.
INVENTORY OF FIXTURES :
On your arrival, an inventory of fixtures is provided in the accommodation. This must be checked. If you have any objections, please let us know immediately (48 hours) by e-mail to booking@travelnkeys.com. In the absence of any objections, the inventory of fixtures will be deemed to be in order and accepted without reservation.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
1/ Rental less than or equal to 30 days
A deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay is required at the time of booking, 70% at the latest one month before your arrival.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the customer is required to pay the full rental amount.
During congress periods, summer periods and Olympic Games, the total amount of the stay must be paid to TRAVELNKEYS at the time of booking. It is not refundable, exchangeable or modifiable.
Payment by cash: 30% deposit on booking by credit card or bank transfer, balance in cash on arrival.
2/ Rental of 31 days or more (medium-term lease)
A deposit of 30% of a full month's rental is required at the time of booking, 70% at the latest one month before your arrival.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the customer is required to pay a full month's rental.
During the congress periods, summer periods and Olympic Games, the total amount of a full month's stay must be paid to TRAVELNKEYS at the time of booking; it is not refundable, exchangeable or modifiable.
Payment by cash: 30% deposit on booking by credit card or bank transfer of the total amount for a full month, payment of the balance in cash on arrival.
CANCELLATION :
In the event of cancellation, deposits paid will not be refunded under any circumstances, the entire deposit will be retained by TRAVELNKEYS. In the event of modification, late cancellation (less than 3 days), or no-show on the planned date of arrival, the entire balance will be claimed by TRAVELNKEYS, which then reserves the right to dispose of the accommodation immediately.
MEDIUM-TERM STAY (Mobility lease or civil code)
IMPORTANT: Tenants who have booked a property for a period of more than 1 month (medium-term leases) may have this booking automatically confirmed by third-party communication platforms. However, in the case of rentals of more than 1 month, the prospective tenants must imperatively send an additional file within 48 hours for final acceptance of the reservation by TRAVELNKEYS, the minimum list of which is as follows
-Identity papers for each occupant
-Proof of annual income or pay slips or proof of holding the total amount of the stay in a bank account of the reserving party
-Employer's certificate for mobility leases (leases for training or temporary work purposes).
In the absence of this additional file or if the income proves to be insufficient to cover the total cost of the reservation, TRAVELNKEYS reserves the right to cancel the reservation. The deposits already paid by the tenant(s) will be refunded by TRAVELNKEYS. In no case this cancellation at the initiative of TRAVELNKEYS can be the subject of any compensation to the benefit of the prospective tenants who accept this condition.
Once the file is complete, it will allow the elaboration of the final lease which will have to be signed by the tenant(s) within 48 hours once it has been transmitted to the tenants by TRAVELNKEYS. If the contract is not signed within 48 hours, TRAVELNKEYS reserves the right to cancel the reservation. The deposits already paid by the tenant(s) will be refunded by TRAVELNKEYS. Under no circumstances can this cancellation at the initiative of TRAVELNKEYS be the subject of any compensation to the benefit of the prospective tenants who accept this condition.
We want to ensure the peace of mind of our customers and help them to book taking into account their future travel plans.
For this reason we have adapted our cancellation policy for new bookings to allow greater flexibility when booking directly with TRAVELNKEYS.
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible by sending an email to booking@travelnkeys.com quoting your booking number and the name of the flat.

Please check your booking confirmation email for the cancellation policy communicated to you at the time of booking.
Direct bookings with TRAVELNKEYS:
When you make a new booking directly with TRAVELNKEYS via our website or through our sales team, your chosen property will be subject to one of the following cancellation policies:
- Flexible
If you have booked directly with TRAVELNKEYS and wish to cancel your holiday, you will receive a full refund (less a 5% handling fee) if you cancel at least 14 days before arrival, and a 50% refund if you cancel less than 14 days before arrival.
- Moderate
If you have booked directly with TRAVELNKEYS and wish to cancel your holiday, you will receive a full refund (less 5% handling fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before arrival, 50% if you cancel less than 30 days before arrival.
- Strict
If you have booked directly with TRAVELNKEYS and wish to cancel your holiday, you will receive a 50% refund if you cancel at least 30 days before arrival, and no refund if you cancel less than 30 days before arrival.
BOOKINGS MADE WITH TRAVELNKEYS PARTNERS :
For bookings made with a channel partner (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc.), please refer to your booking confirmation for details of your chosen cancellation policy.
If you are unsure of your cancellation policy, you can contact our team by sending an email to booking@travelnkeys.com quoting your booking number and flat name. We will advise you on the options available to you depending on the cancellation policy you have chosen and the partner you have booked with.
DEFAULT OF PAYMENT :
In the event of non-payment by the due dates or in the event of non-performance of any of the clauses of this agreement and five working days after a simple summons by registered letter has remained unsuccessful, this contract will be terminated immediately and the Lessor may avail itself of article 1590 of the Civil Code to retain the deposit paid as initial damages.
RESOLUTORY CLAUSE :
The furnished property described below is rented exclusively on a seasonal or medium-term basis, as a temporary residence for the lessee's business or pleasure. As such, this rental is excluded from the scope of the law n°89-462 of 6 July 1989.
LINEN :
All household linen is provided: sheets, towels, tablecloths and tea towels. A change of linen during your stay is available at extra cost.

CLEANING :
At the time of departure, the accommodation must be clean, the dishwasher empty, the crockery clean and tidy and the rubbish bins emptied. The accommodation will be fully cleaned by TRAVELNKEYS. This cleaning service at the end of the rental period is compulsory and will be fully paid for by the tenant, who accepts it unreservedly. The amount of this service will be known as soon as the booking is made by the tenant/s.
CONDITIONS, AGREEMENTS and USE
In return for the sums paid by the guest, the host authorises the guest to stay in the property in accordance with the conditions of this contract.
The guest agrees that TARVELNKEYS may pass on certain information to the host in connection with the booking if this is necessary.
The guest to stay in the property and allows the guest access to the property via the communal areas of any building of which it forms part for the period from the start date of the booking to the end date of the booking and for any extension that we agree.
This permission is subject to prompt payment of a fee and appropriate behaviour on the part of the guest.
Permission may be withdrawn with very short notice and does not create any form of legal interest in the property, any building of which it forms part, or any other premises.
Nothing in this document or any other agreement creates a tenancy of the property or any other premises and the guest has no right to exclusive possession of the property.
The Property is a house or flat and as such may contain personal possessions; these remain the property of the Guest and any removal of these possessions may be considered theft.
The booking is allocated on a personal basis to the person named as the guest above and may not be assigned or transferred to any other party and no other person is permitted to stay in the property.
GUEST ACCESS
In order to protect the Guest's interests in the property, the Guest agrees to verify his/her identity (ID) prior to the stay and agrees to present photo identification.
The Host or TRAVELNKEYS, acting as agent for the Host, may pass the Guest's details to a third party supplier to carry out ID verification and other checks.
No access to the property may be granted if identity verification has not been satisfactorily completed (this determination is at the sole discretion of the Host or TRAVELNKEYS).
The check-in assistant will meet guests at the property on the day of arrival. In exchange for the keys, guests are required to pay the check-in fee in cash if full payment has not already been made in advance.
SECURITY GUARANTEE AND DAMAGES
The guest acknowledges that they are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
Guest agrees to compensate Host for any loss Guest may suffer as a result of damage to the Property, its facilities or equipment, or as a result of nuisance or annoyance caused to any occupier of neighbouring premises, which occurs as a result of Guest's failure to promptly report any necessary repairs to Host or TRAVELNKEYS, or failure to take reasonable steps to minimise the effects of a problem and prevent it from becoming worse.
If the guest fails to report a necessary repair to the host or TRAVELNKEYS, and it only becomes apparent after the guest has left the property, the host is entitled to assume that the damage was caused by the guest's negligence or carelessness and to charge the guest accordingly.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST
All obligations under the contract signed between TRAVELNKEYS and the tenant are those of the guest or any other person whom the guest authorises to enter the property, whether or not the host or TRAVELNKEYS has been informed of the presence of that person.
The guest assumes full responsibility for the behaviour of any person whom the guest has authorised to enter the property.
No legal rights are granted to the guest or any other party in respect of the property, any building of which it forms part, or any other premises.
All obligations of the Guest in respect of the Property shall apply equally to any building of which the Property forms part and to any access, parking or right of way associated with the Property.
USE
The Guest agrees to use the Property for residential purposes only and not :
(a) damage, rearrange or remove the Guest's personal belongings from the Property and/or the Property in any way ;
b) open cupboards, wardrobes, drawers or other taped areas or enter rooms where doors have been locked and will be liable to pay a minimum charge of at least €50 if this is done;
c) operate any form of business from the property unless specifically agreed
d) use the property for illegal or immoral purposes;
e) use or keep illegal drugs in the property;
f) carry out any action that would cause damage or deterioration to the Property
g) bring animals into the Property, unless specifically agreed, with the exception of assistance dogs for the disabled (if agreed);
h) to invade the privacy of the Guest and not to publish or reveal anything that might enable a third party to identify the address of the Property or the identity of the Guest (even if this information is already in the public domain);
i) smoking inside the property
The guest further agrees at all times to use the property in a reasonable and responsible manner.
FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
The guest agrees to use the appliances, facilities and equipment provided by the host or TRAVELNKEYS in accordance with the instructions provided and in a reasonable and prudent manner.
NOISE AND NUISANCE
The guest agrees not to cause excessive noise in the property.
The guest agrees to use the property in such a way as not to cause a nuisance to other persons residing in neighbouring or nearby buildings.
The guest agrees not to disturb, harass, cause nuisance or inconvenience to any person residing in, working for or on behalf of the host or TRAVELNKEYS, or carrying on their lawful business in the building or immediate vicinity.
There is a strict policy against parties or gatherings in the Property and the accommodation is not intended to be a place of assembly or dedicated to holding parties.
Any justified complaint about a party will result in any visitor to the Property involved in the party being asked to leave the premises and may result in the immediate termination of this licence.
ADVERTISING
The Guest agrees not to display any sign or logo visible from outside the Property and not to use the Property, its address or location in any form of advertising or promotional material.
PROMPT REPORTING OF REPAIRS
Guest agrees to report promptly to the Host or TRAVELNKEYS any item on the Property that requires repair.
The Guest also agrees to act as soon as they become aware of a problem in order to minimise its effects and prevent it from becoming worse or causing nuisance to the occupier of neighbouring premises.
The Guest agrees to compensate the Host for any loss the Host may suffer by reason of damage to the property, its fixtures or fittings, or by reason of any nuisance or annoyance caused to any occupier of adjoining premises which occurs as a result of the Guest's failure to report promptly any necessary repairs to the Host or TRAVELNKEYS, or to take reasonable steps to minimise the effects of any problem and to prevent the problem from becoming worse.
If the guest fails to report a necessary repair to the host or TRAVELNKEYS and it only becomes apparent after the guest has left the flat, the host shall be entitled to assume that the damage was caused by the guest's negligence or carelessness and to charge the guest accordingly.
ACCESS
The guest agrees that the host, TRAVELNKEYS or any agent, contractor or representative approved by them may enter the property for any reason, at any time and without notice.
From time to time TRAVELNKEYS, the Host or agents, contractors or representatives approved by them shall have access to the property to show the property to prospective guests, tenants or purchasers.
The Host or TRAVELNKEYS will always attempt to enter the Property during normal working hours but may do so at other times.
The guest agrees not to obstruct this access in any way at any time.
Access may be made whether or not the guest is present.
VENTILATION
The guest must ensure that the property is properly ventilated to avoid any accumulation of damp, cooking smells, smoke or grease.
TRAVELNKEYS cannot be held responsible for any malfunctioning of the air conditioning and heating for any reason beyond its control. No refund or commercial discount will be made in the event of unavailability during the stay.
SECTION
The guest shall dispose of all rubbish and waste promptly using the facilities provided for this purpose.
The guest must not dispose of waste or rubbish in any system not designed for this purpose.
The guest will take care not to block or damage drains or sanitary appliances by attempting to dispose of inappropriate items or abrasive, corrosive or dangerous substances.
COOKING
The Guest will use cooking appliances provided with reasonable care, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and with adequate ventilation so as not to damage the property, building or facilities.
CLEANING
The guest must keep the property clean and tidy.
The guest is primarily responsible for the condition of the property at the time of departure, even if TRAVELNKEYS has provided separate cleaning services.
CONDITION AT THE END OF THE RENTAL PERIOD
At the end of the rental or earlier, the guest undertakes to take possession of the property, removing all occupants or other persons as well as all goods and waste from the property.
The guest agrees to leave the facilities and equipment in the same state of cleanliness as at the date of commencement of the booking, subject to normal wear and tear.
COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGE
The Guest agrees to compensate the Host for any necessary cleaning or decoration of the property, any loss which the Host may suffer, or any costs or charges which the Host may have to pay, including compensation to occupiers of neighbouring premises caused by the Guest's failure to comply with any of the obligations of this Agreement. The cost of such damages shall be determined at the sole discretion of TRAVELNKEYS.
SECURITY
The guest shall take steps to ensure the security of the property by
- Taking care of access keys, tokens, badges or codes and not giving them to persons other than employees, contractors, agents or authorised representatives of the Host or B'Your Home
- Not leaving external doors, windows and other forms of access to the property open when unattended by the guest.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOST
The Host agrees to provide the Guest with accommodation in the Property.
The host must provide the guest with working cooking and washing facilities in the property.
The Host shall ensure that the Property is cleaned to a reasonable standard and that the Property and all equipment and facilities are in a good state of repair prior to the start date of the booking.
19.4 The Host shall maintain in good repair and working order
- The fabric and structure of the property
- The utilities and conduits for the supply of water, gas, sewerage, drainage and electricity) all appliances, furniture, fixtures or fittings provided.
The host is not obliged to carry out any repair until the guest has notified the host or TRAVELNKEYS of the repair.
The host is entitled to a reasonable period of time to carry out the necessary repairs, taking into account the seriousness of the repairs, the situation of the guest, the time of day, public holidays and the availability of the necessary parts.
If the Guest carries out a repair or instructs another person to carry it out on his/her behalf without informing the Host or B'Your Home in advance or without giving the Host or B'Your Home a reasonable opportunity to repair the item, the Host shall not be liable for any costs incurred in carrying out the repair.
The Guest is responsible for any defects in material or workmanship which reduce the property to a lower standard than it was at the commencement of the booking.
The guest is also responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by the host in verifying the quality and suitability of any repair.
The Host is not obliged to repair or replace anything which has been damaged or destroyed as a result of the negligence, carelessness or misuse of the Guest or any Guest visitor to the Property and if the Guest fails to repair any such item, the Host will charge the Guest the full cost of such repair or replacement.
TERMINATION
The Host or TRAVELNKEYS may terminate this tenancy at any time on 24 hours notice if the Guest fails to comply with any part of this agreement.
PROPERTY LEFT BEHIND
If the Guest leaves any bulky or difficult to transport item in the property at or before the end of this tenancy, the Guest shall be liable to pay a rental charge until the Host can remove the item and the Guest shall also be liable to pay any costs incurred in removing or storing the item.
If the Guest leaves other items behind, the Guest will be liable for the storage costs incurred in storing them and if an item is not claimed within 14 days of the Guest's departure, it will be deemed to have been abandoned and the Host may sell or dispose of it at its sole discretion retaining the proceeds of sale to offset its storage and administration costs.
UTILITIES AND AMENITIES
The booking fee includes all charges levied for the following utilities: gas (where applicable) electricity, water, TV licence (where applicable) council tax, insurance for any items provided by the Guest.
The Host shall not be liable for any temporary failure or interruption of the services of the Property, including the failure or interruption of the services of the Property, including electricity, air conditioning, water or any damage, telephone, broadband or internet and other communications.
Internet / Wi-Fi access is included in the rental.
TRAVELNKEYS cannot be held responsible for any temporary stoppage of the Internet service due to the access provider or any other cause beyond its control. No refund or commercial discount will be made in case of unavailability of the network access.
NOISE
Whilst the Host will endeavour to ensure that the Guest has a peaceful stay, the Host is not responsible for any disturbance or noise caused by other people in the area, or as a result of repair work being carried out on neighbouring premises or in the vicinity.
SPECIALISED CLEANING
If there has been a breach of the rental agreement by animals being brought into the property or smoking, specialist cleaning will be required at an additional minimum cost of €400 INCLUDING VAT.
NOTICE
Any notice required under this agreement shall be valid if sent by the Host or TRAVELNKEYS by email to the Guest at the Guest's email address or by the Guest at TRAVELNKEYS' email address (booking@travelnkeys.com), provided that no notice of non-delivery is received, and notice shall be deemed to have been sent eight hours after posting.
DATA PROTECTION
All notices required under this Agreement shall be valid if sent by Host or TRAVELNKEYS by e-mail to Guest at Guest's e-mail address or by Guest at TRAVELNKEYS' e-mail address (booking@travelnkeys.com), provided that no notice of non-delivery is received, and notice shall be deemed to have been served eight hours after it is sent.
GENERAL
The unenforceability or invalidity of any provision of this agreement shall not affect the enforceability or validity of any other provision.
LIABILITY :
All accommodation has been checked and examined by TRAVELNKEYS. The descriptions given conform to reality and have been written in good faith. In the event of a complaint, the holidaymaker undertakes to notify TRAVELNKEYS within 48 hours by e-mail. The customer undertakes to collaborate with TRAVELNKEYS in order to try to solve the problem. In the absence of written communication and explicit authorisation from TRAVELNKEYS, the customer who abandons his accommodation before the agreed date will lose the right to a possible refund of the rental amount. Any complaints notified after the end of the stay will not give rise to any reimbursement. TRAVELNKEYS reserves the right to terminate the contract before or during its execution if unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure make the use of the flat impossible. TRAVELNKEYS reserves the right to assign another accommodation with similar or superior characteristics. If the customer refuses the transfer of the reservation, TRAVELNKEYS will refund all the sums paid for the reservation, in this case no compensation will be granted.
