Melun is located 41 km south-east of Paris, in a meander of the Seine, between the Brie and the Gâtinais. The city has all kinds of shops (bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies etc...) which are accessible within 5 minutes walk from the house.
Melun is a university town. The Melun campus was created as part of a partnership between two local authorities (the city of Melun and the Melun Val-de-Seine agglomeration community) and the Panthéon-Assas University. The courses are spread over 4 buildings in the heart of Melun.
The city benefits from the dynamism on the banks of the Seine. You will also find all kinds of restaurants, whether fast food or classic.
At 6 km from the property, there is the Carrefour shopping center with about 200 brands, ideal for a shopping session. Not far away, there are also the castles of Vaux le Vicomte and Fontainebleau, an open shopping center with the main brand. Both are accessible by public transport.
