On the evening of July 14, the lock broke due to wear and tear. Since I couldn't get in touch with a caretaker or similar, I had to call a locksmith and pay €500 in cash. I have since tried in vain to get the money refunded from the rental agency. However, they have been very unwilling to solve the problem and have dragged the matter on for a long time.
